Defining a real house party, Super Junior members dressed in colorful pajamas for two special videos!

Super Junior releases two special videos to celebrate the milestone of “House Party” music video reaching 10 million views.

As the 16-year old idol group comes back with its 10th full album The Renaissance on March 16, an event was also presented that a special video will be released once the “House Party” music video reaches 10 million views by midnight of March 23. Amazingly, the music video surpassed 10 million views 65 hours after its release and is now heading towards 19 million views as of writing.

The special videos released were directed by Shindong and were released on Super Junior’s official YouTube channel on March 29 and March 30 at 6PM KST.

Super Junior’s real house party

The special video starts with the members sitting comfortably with their colorful pajamas on. Taking a closer look, while the camera focuses on the eight members, Heechul is seen slouching underneath a kitchen table.

Eunhyuk then sits on the couch facing the members, lip-syncing to his intro part. Donghae and Shindong followed, doing playful gestures especially Donghae who bluffs about taking off his outer pajama shirt.

Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, Yesung, Eunhyuk, and Leeteuk then dance to the choreography wearing only plain white socks while Siwon sits behind waiting for his turn. Wearing blue checkered pajamas, Siwon walks towards the center signaling the start of a crazy group choreography from the original entertainers. Particularly, Leeteuk gets extra as he moves forward for his part, a bewildered expression seen on Siwon’s face.

A rather fun scene proving Super Junior’s tight friendship was shown with Kyuhyun pressing Donghae’s shoulders. While Ryeowook does a witty move, the camera pans to Leeteuk and Shindong dancing like robots. Continuing the musical-like choreography, Ryeowook and Eunhyuk cut the set of hanging clothes in two, making Yesung appear in a comical expression.

Moving forward to the trap part of the song, Heechul comes out in patterned pajamas. Towards the video, the members continuously show off their best humorous facial expressions and gestures. While Eunhyuk keeps up with his charismatic dance steps before the addicting Donghae and Yesung part comes in.

The second group dance was rather hilarious. All members look energetic, obviously having fun especially Leeteuk who randomly jumped over Shindong’s back. Nearing the end of the song, Eunhyuk lies down on the floor while Donghae and Ryeowook playfully step on his stomach and leg.

After finishing the choreography, the members move towards the couch. Leeteuk is seen tapping Heechul’s hand, while each member settles themselves on the couch as if nothing crazy happened. The camera then pans on each Super Junior member while giving off their unique take as ending fairies.

Super Junior’s “House Party” Alone Version

The second special video featured the members alone on the couch, making comical gestures while lipsyncing to the song.

Particularly, Eunhyuk lies down whenever the shot goes to him. The funniest part was when he was behind the couch, making fans wonder at first glance where the main dancer is.

Siwon, on the other hand, sits on the couch expressionless. He just plainly stare at the camera, not smiling. But towards the end of the video, he then showed his bright teeth.

Kyuhyun also was a scene-stealer. While the members were all smile doing goofy things like jumping up and down and doing body gags, Kyuhyun sits on the couch with an emotional facial expression.

Compared to the first special video, the “Alone ver.” was rather on a different level of chaos. As Super Junior is known for many legendary achievements, the group also has the title of being the “craziest idol group,” and the special videos definitely were evidence of it.
