The boys who recently returned with their highly-anticipated WE album has sent warm greetings and kind wishes to Jennie, Jisoo, Rose, and Lisa.

Winner As Proud Seniors

In a recent interview, WINNER’s Seung Yoon expressed how proud and happy they are to see that the girls are doing very well, “I think they are very cool. I watched a video of their recent (Coachella) performance. They are really awesome and can sing live well. We’d love to perform at a festival like that someday.”

“To be honest, there is a part of me that is a little envious since you don’t get to perform on such a high-profile stage often,” the idol candidly admitted.

Though feeling a bit envious about their junior’s growing success worldwide, Seung Yoon still revealed that they will always be happy to show their support to BLACKPINK. “But more than anything, we support them. As their oppas and seniors, we are just happy that our younger sisters are doing well and we just want to send our support and hit the stream button.”

In addition, he believed that WINNER’s direction is entirely different from the girls’ journey by saying, “They are now international stars. We’ll go our way, having good memories and a good time with fans.”

“They speak English well. Three of them can speak English well and I think we get motivated from things like that,” Mino added.

Meanwhile, Seung Yoon, Jinwoo, Seung Hoon, and Mino are currently busy promoting their latest EP WE with “Ah Yeah” as its title track. Soon after its release on May 15, it quickly topped various music charts around the world.
