Yoon Shi Yoon Looks Back On His Career, Grateful For “Baker King”, “2 Days 1 Night”, “Grand Prince”
Yoon Shi Yoon took a trip down to memory lane and reminisced the blessings that he has received as an actor.
After the conclusion of his recent drama, Grand Prince, Yoon Shi Yoon had an intimate interview on May 8.
Yoon, who is celebrating his eighth year as an actor, shared his thoughts about the roles which he has portrayed so far.
“The most memorable piece is High Kick Through the Roof because it gave me the starting point as an actor. Baker King is the turning point for me as it made my identity as an actor.”
Yoon Shi Yoon also showed affection for entertainment program 2 Days 1 Night which he is appearing in. He has been a regular cast member in the popular variety show that has been delighting viewers with its travel concept and signature fun games.
When asked about his experiences in 2 Days 1 Night, Yoon said, “I started enjoying the experiences in this road. Before that, I was worried about losing something or being hated. I was able to put down a lot of things as an actor while doing 2 Days 1 Night. I am able to show my diversity as a person.”
He expressed staying in the show as long as viewers would want it, and jokingly quipped that he will do it until he gets fired.
Yoon Shi Yoon gave his two cents on what he learned from the variety show. “If you are confused by the burden of being funny, you will not be laughing at all. Laughter and pleasure are different”, he said.
Lastly, the artist appreciated the support of the followers of his last drama Grand Prince, which hits 5% nationwide viewership rating, the highest cable network TV Chosun has achieved so far.
He praised the production team and cast for working together to create a historical drama masterpiece.
