2NE1 proves popularity in list compiled by YouTube

In its latest tweet, YouTube compiled a list of ‘The Evolution of Girl Groups’.

To our surprise, YG Entertainment’s girl group 2NE1 is listed there among Western girl groups including, Fifth Harmony, G.R.L, Cimorelli, Little Mix, The Pussycat Dolls, Destiny’s Child, TLC, The Spice Girls and many more.

2NE1’s music video for I Am The Best is listed on the playlist, showing how well the song is doing in Western pop culture.

The girl group’s song I Am The Best was also recently used for a Microsoft campaign, showing that its Surface Pro 3 was the ‘best’.
