BLACKPINK sets a new record once again!

YG Entertainment’s prized girl group BLACKPINK has bagged another amazing feat on the YouTube platform with their “How You Like That” music video.

On November 12, BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That” music video officially hit the 1-billion mark on YouTube. Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa released the track on June 26, 2020, as part of their first full album THE ALBUM. It took them around one year, four months, and 16 days to reach the incredible milestone.

Notably, this is now the fastest K-pop girl group music video to smash the said number of views. BLACKPINK also previously held the record with their “DDU-DU DDU-DU” music video, which reach the achievement in one year, four months, and 27 days.

Additionally, “How You Like That” became BLACKPINK’s fifth music video to join the 1-billion club on YouTube. Other tracks of the group that likewise achieved the milestone include “As If It’s Your Last,”  “BOOMBAYAH,” “DDU-DU-DDU-DU,” and “Kill This Love.”

Meanwhile, in other news, BLACKPINK recently participated in the YouTube Originals event titled Dear Earth, a campaign designed on the theme of climate change. They delivered a meaningful message aimed at improving awareness of climate change to fans around the world. Moreover, the quartet delighted viewers with a stunning “STAY” performance.
