BTS’ “IDOL” MV Surpasses 1.1 Billion YouTube Views

Another BTS music video has joined the 1.1 billion club on YouTube!

Continuously wowing fans with their music, BTS has recorded a new milestone on YouTube as their festive music video for “IDOL” surpasses 1.1 billion views.

Back on August 24, 2018, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook released “IDOL” as the title track of their record-breaking album Love Yourself: Answer. The septet was able to check off the impressive milestone in around three years, seven months, and 10 days after its successful worldwide release.

In addition, “IDOL” becomes BTS’ fifth music video to reach 1.1 billion views. Other tracks of the boy group that previously smashed the massive online view count include “DNA,” “Dynamite,” “Boy With Luv,” and “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix).”

Meanwhile, in related news, BTS is currently delighting fans with their sold-out PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LAS VEGAS at the Allegiant Stadium. After today’s concert, the boys will still meet fans with three more shows on April 9, 15, and 16.

Moreover, the septet made a new personal best record with their recent nominations for the upcoming 2022 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs). They have been given nods in a total of seven categories, making them the duo or group with the most nominations on the roster this year.
