BTS’ “Permission To Dance” MV Garners 500 Million YouTube Views

Worldwide K-pop male septet BTS has recorded 500 million views on the YouTube platform with their “Permission To Dance” music video.

On June 13, the group’s music video for “Permission To Dance” reached the 500-million mark on YouTube. They were able to hit the amazing milestone in just 11 months and four days after its global release.

RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook gifted fans with the song “Permission To Dance,” which was co-written by Ed Sheeran, on July 9 at 1 PM KST. It is a light and exciting dance-pop genre song with the lyrics, “You can dance as you like, without permission.”

Aside from the free-spirited yet friendly choreography of BTS, a special performance using international sign language is added to energize people around the world.

Additionally, “Permission To Dance” became BTS’ 13th music video to garner 500 million views. Other amazing songs of the group that likewise unlocked the milestone included “Dope,” “Blood Sweat & Tears,” “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix),” “DNA,” “Fire,” “Fake Love,” “Save Me,” “IDOL,” “Not Today,” “Boy With Luv,”  “Dynamite,” and “Butter.”
