Is he joining the Army?

American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth has followed BTS‘s Twitter account. He also liked Jungkook’s post of his cover We Don’t Talk Anymore, originally sang by Puth with Selena Gomez.

The Korean group returned the favor by following Puth back on the social networking site. Following Jungkook’s teaser for his cover, We Don’t Talk Anymore trended immediately to number 1 and Charlie Puth on number 5 in Melon Live search.

Fans have expressed their delight on Twitter for the sudden ‘interaction’ between the Korean group and Puth. A fan wrote that Jungkook must have left the American singer “shaken”.

Another exclaimed her interest to see a collaboration between Puth and Jungkook this year. “And then we all can die in peace, please make it happen,” she added.

One fan summarized her emotions in three simple words of “oh my god”, while another wrote, “Jungkook started the music industry” in response to the following.

The youngest member of the group seems to have something in store for Armys as he accompanied the video with a caption “coming soon”.

Jungkook has previously released covers of various songs including Lost Stars by Maroon 5 and Purpose by Justin Bieber.
