Fans Can’t Get Enough Of GOT7’s Jinyoung Covering Mark’s Part In ‘Never Ever’ + ‘Rapper’ Jinyoung Returns With ‘Paradise’

GOT7’s Jinyoung did that!

GOT7 may be losing Mark at the moment due to his ‘Laws of the Jungle’ stint, but fret not as Jinyoung got it covered.

The vocalist of the Korean boy group showed fans that he could actually handle rapping too — when he did Mark’s part in their title track Never Ever.

Mark is currently filming for the upcoming season of ‘Laws of the Jungle’ in New Zealand. The idol left for the shooting last March 31 with fellow cast members After School‘s UEE, Super Junior‘s Shindong, Kang Nam, Kim Byung Man, Park Chul Min, and Sung Hoon.

Due to Mark’s absence, GOT7 had to perform with the remaining six members at KBS’s Music Bank. Fans who watched the performance couldn’t help but gush on Jinyoung’s cover.

A fan posted a snippet of the group’s performance and wrote, “Here is Jinyoung doing Mark’s part a.k.a Let’s try it, Let’s sign it, a.k.a my death.” Another fan tweeted that although she missed Mark already, but Jinyoung’s take of his member’s part is making her go “OMG”.

One user urged followers to retweet Jinyoung’s cut “to save a life” while another was shook.

Others, on the one hand, had nostalgia over the short rap of the singer-actor. Jinyoung’s rapping reminded them of his JJ Project days with fellow member JB. “I miss JJ Project,” one tweet reads. However, JB seems to have lost fan because of Jinyoung’s rap, as well. And for IGOT7s, the vocalist of the group might have ascended as ‘king of rapping’ now.

But if ‘rapper’ Jinyoung on Music Bank was too short, worry not.

The boy group surprised fans with its newest ‘GOT the Stage’ video, featuring Jinyoung’s self-composed track Paradise. The idol, along with Mark and Yugyeom, performed the track. In the video, Jinyoung rapped Jackson‘s parts.
