Fans Say They Are #HereForPentagon Amid Controversies

Fans of Pentagon are joining hands to make the boy group feel the love!

South Korean boy group Pentagon had a tough day on August 3.

Dating news of members E’Dawn, Hui, and Yuto came one after the other. E’Dawn admitted being in a two-year relationship with fellow Cube Entertainment artist and Triple H member, Hyuna. It was also confirmed that Hui and (G)I-DLE’s Sooji dated but have already broken up. Meanwhile, Yuto was also embroiled in a dating news with CLC’s Yeeun which was denied, maintaining the two are just close friends.

However, the series of dating news negatively impacted Pentagon. Hundreds of fans reportedly cancelled their tickets to the boy group’s upcoming fan club event. Cube Entertainment saw its stocks dipping. Triple H abruptly ended promotions of its second extended play, Retro Futurism.

Still, many fans have come forward to express their support for Jinho, Hui, Hongseok, E’Dawn, Shinwon, Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto, Kino, and Wooseok through the hashtag #HereForPentagon. The hashtag made its rounds on Twitter starting August 3 with messages of appreciation, promise of staying, and more.
