IVE Scores 100 Million Views With “ELEVEN” Music Video

Rising K-Pop girl group IVE keeps on bagging subsequent records and feats in conjunction with their debut song, “ELEVEN!”

Starship Entertainment’s prized girl group, IVE, remains unstoppable as their first-ever lead single garners 100 million views on YouTube.

On the morning of March 8, the girl group’s music video for their debut track titled “ELEVEN” officially exceeded the 100 million mark on YouTube.

This becomes IVE’s first official music video to hit the said outstanding count, proving their growing influence and popularity. Notably, the talented and charming group was able to achieve the said milestone in just three months and one week after “ELEVEN”‘s successful worldwide release.

This feat also became a fitting present for the group who have achieved so much since their debut. These include winning the Rookie Award for Female Group in the Hanteo Music Awards and MuBeat Awards, launching their official fan club “DIVE,” and releasing their debut single album.

A MEMORABLE RELEASE

Unveiled on December 1, 2021, Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo left everyone in awe with their dance-pop song with percussion rhythms and marimba melodies called “ELEVEN.” It is the title track of their first-ever single album of the same name, which expresses the feelings of a girl, with a heart filled with fantasy and colors.

Featuring two tracks, the album showcases the girls’ amazing musicality and star quality. It also highlights their mesmerizing vocals, making it an album worth listening to.

As proof of its commercial success, Eleven, amassed 250,000 sales, earning the group their first-ever Platinum Certification in December. It also took over Gaon’s Weekly and Monthly Album Charts, and even became the 49th best-selling album in South Korea in 2021, proving its popularity among the general public.

Meanwhile, the lead single of the same name dominated Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Chart, Billboard Global 200, and Billboard Global Excl. US’ Chart. It also took the top spots on Spotify’s”Viral Top 50″ and “Global Top 200” chart, and was the most streamed song on YouTube in South Korea for five weeks.

Demonstrating their potential, IVE even earned a total of 13 music show wins, including triple crown on Music Bank, Music Core, and Inkigayo, with “ELEVEN.”
