“My Korean Jagiya” Alexander Lee Sends Touching Birthday Greeting To Co-Star Heart Evangelista
How sweet of Alexander Lee!
Former U-KISS member-turned-actor Alexander Lee, popularly known by his stage name Xander, made fans go “aww” with his special birthday greeting for Filipino actress Heart Evangelista.
Lee and Evangelista met on the set of the first Philippine-Korean television series My Korean Jagiya, which aired a total of 105 episodes in a Philippine channel.

On his Instagram account, the South Korean actor posted a series of photos of him and the actress on February 14 with a lengthy message. “One thing I really thank God is that I was able to meet a co-worker who was such a blessing to me,” he began his caption.
He went on to describe his co-star as a real-life princess, with a successful career, an amazing marriage, and an interesting life. “With all these conditions, normally, a woman would be proud, snobbish, and perhaps, even b*tchy,” he wrote.

But, Evangelista, according to Lee, proved him wrong by being a classy lady, who remains humble, patient, kind, and truthful.
“Happy Birthday to you, my dearest Heart,” he wrote. He also thanked her for being a nice senior and mentor in acting, and being a very nice and truthful friend in life.
“Some people only win my heart and not my loyalty, but you won both na ay naku!” he wrote, before ending “God bless.”
Last August 2017, Lee made his acting debut in the Philippines with My Korean Jagiya as Kim Jun Ho. Evangelista played the female lead, Gia Asuncion, a bubbly girl who is a longtime fan of Jun Ho.
The television series ended its run on January 2018.
