SEVENTEEN’s “Don’t Wanna Cry” Reaches 200 Million YouTube Views
Congratulations, SEVENTEEN!
K-pop powerhouse boy group SEVENTEEN has made a brand-new personal record on the YouTube platform.
Just recently, the group’s music video for their hit track “Don’t Wanna Cry” has officially reached the 200-million mark on YouTube. Remarkably, it is their very first MV to hit the amazing milestone. They achieved the record in around four years and one day after its release.
A remarkable hit
Back on May 22, 2017, SEVENTEEN gifted fans with their fourth mini-album AI1 bannered by the title track “Don’t Wanna Cry.” The song was composed by Bumzu and the group’s very own “vocal boss” Woozi. Other members including S.Coups, Jeonghan, and Hoshi also participated in writing the lyrics.
Proving to be one of their biggest hits, the group was able to earn a total of six trophies on various music shows.
6 years of great music
SEVENTEEN will be celebrating their 6th debut anniversary this coming May 26. Since debuting in 2015, S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, DK, Mingyu, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino have marked their name as one of the most sought-after K-pop acts today with over 100 amazing songs under their belt.
Meanwhile, in related news, SEVENTEEN signaled the start of a brand-new era by dropping details for their newest album. The group’s 8th mini-album Your Choice will drop on June 18 at 6 PM KST.
