Shin Se Kyung Cherishes Her YouTube Channel Milestone + Gives A Peek To Her New jTBC Drama “Run On”
Ready to make her small screen return, Shin Se Kyung embarks on a new role as a language translator in jTBC drama, Run On.
Before that, Shin Se Kyung is primed to grace the pages of fashion magazine Elle with striking poses and interview. Taking a concept that utilizes the actress’ true charms as a YouTuber, Shin decks contradictory outfits. She dons a checkered suit; a cream-colored chunky knit dress paired with black boots; and a satin jacket with see-through top underneath.
Fulfilling Her Dream To Genuinely Communicate
Well-received for her candid and genuine content, Shin’s personal YouTube channel notched 1 million subscribers. That is a first for a South Korean actress.
Her channel conveys daily life reminiscent of writing a diary. it contains the natural, confident, free spirited life of Shin Se Kyung.
In the accompanying interview, Shin Se Kyung remarked her thoughts about her personal YouTube project. “I feel the same after achieving 1 million subscribers. Still, it seems to be a precious experience. I have been congratulated by so many people.” she said.
Confessing why she started sharing her daily life on YouTube for the first time, she said, “I think I just wanted to show myself as it is.” She also takes pride that her channel somehow achieved one of her dreams. That is to communicate with people sincerely via YouTube.

Giving a glimpse of her new drama Run On, she raised expectations by revealing that “the way the characters show their wounds and draw empathy to the viewers is heartwarming.”
