Cha Tae Hyun Streaks New Projects For His Small Screen Return
After 14 months of hiatus, Cha Tae Hyun resumes activity with a new drama and entertainment show
Fans of the all-rounder artist Cha Tae Hyun would soon see more of his presence on his new ventures.
Cha Tae Hyun, who had temporarily suspended his activities due to the “golf betting” controversy in March last year, returns with new projects this month.
Set to premiere on March 23, the actor marks his drama comeback with Team Bulldog: Off-Duty Investigation.
Team Bulldog: Off-duty Investigation depicts the lives of five people who use their smarts and skills in arresting criminals.
Cha plays an effective but unpopular detective, Jin Kang Ho who teams up with a passionate PD, Kang Moo Young (Lee Sun Bin).
Like a bulldog, private detective Jin Kang Ho uses any means and methods to catch a criminal once he is convinced of his evil act. He thinks a criminal is a poison that must be put on jail. Even without concrete evidence or using a little intimidation, he settles the score firmly.
Albeit being a stubborn member of the police force and having no outstanding specification, his criminal arrest rate is unmatched.
Along with this, Cha Tae Hyun also returns with new variety show with PD Yoo Ho Jin titled, Seoul Villager. The latter has worked with the actor on popular KBS2 TV shows 1 Night 2 Days and Where on Earth?.
For their third collaboration, the actor will visit the hometown of the invited guest to experience the daily life as a villager.
A senior official in Blossom Entertainment said that during Cha’s period of hibernation from the limelight, he spent his time well in reflecting as the result of the controversy.
