Choi Jin Hyuk And Son Hyun Joo To Delve On New Vengeance-Driven KBS2 Drama
A fusion of two brilliant actors is underway for KBS2’s latest revenge drama, Justice.
Choi Jin Hyuk (The Last Empress) and Son Hyun Joo (Criminal Minds) confirmed their appearance to Justice (working title), which is slated for July broadcast via KBS2.
Based on a webtoon, Justice takes the thrilling story of a lawyer and a construction company CEO, who join forces to lay the ground for their ulterior motives.
Taking the role of a lawyer with excellent winning rate, Choi Jin Hyuk will portray Lee Tae Gyung. Conspiring with Song Woo Young, Son Hyun Joo’s character, they work with Korea’s VVIPs.
Choi’s character boasts the highest winning rate in the industry owing to his intellect. He has accumulated wealth and power by defending the high society people with their cases. Initially wanting to avenge a family member, his desire slowly disappears as he stumbles on a case involving the disappearance of an actress.
Meanwhile, Son’s character desires to become a powerhouse by building his company. His mantra is to climb higher so as not to be trampled again for his family.
With the two reliable actors on board, expectations are high on how they will display the challenges set for their roles.
The production crew shared, “We look forward to see what kind of synergy will be created by Choi Jin Hyuk and Son Hyun Joo. Please watch the first broadcast of Justice with strong interest.”
Web novel Justice is created by Lee Jang Ho. Penning the script is writer Jung Chan Mi whose works include youth dramas School 2017 and Sassy Go Go. PD Cho Dae Pyo of KBS drama special Dream of Midnight Night will call the shots of the production.
Aiming July broadcast date, Justice will be served via KBS2.
