Former 4Minute Member Nam Ji Hyun Starts Afresh With A New Agency

Former 4Minute member Nam Ji Hyun, who is now actively promoting as an actress, starts anew with Urban Works Media. 

South Korean actress and former singer Nam Ji Hyun has signed an exclusive contract with Urban Works Media.

On August 8, the agency shared the exciting news through a statement. They said, “We’ve signed an exclusive contract with Nam Ji Hyun, who is multi-talented in a wide variety of fields. She is an artist we are looking forward to even more in the future. We will not hesitate to give our full support so that she can show you her bright energy and various charms through diverse projects.”

Nam Ji Hyun debuted in June 2009 as a member of 4Minute with their single “Hot Issue.” She made her very first appearance on the small screen a year after in a SBS television series It’s Okay, Daddy’s Girl, in which she played the role of a law student.

Since then, she began receiving casting offers in various dramas, films, and sit-coms. These include MBC’s weekend offering A Thousand Kisses, Love and War 2, Please Remember, Princess, Love Cells.

She received greater recognition by starring dramas Strongest Deliveryman, Grand Prince,Monkey and Dog Romance, When the Devil Calls Your Name, and Lonely Enough to Love. Just recently, she played law school student Na Se Ryun in SBS’s “Why Her?” starring Seo Hyun Jin and Hwang In Youp.

Nam Ji Hyun stated “I feel very thankful to meet such a good agency with good people and I feel assured. I want to move forward step by step and showcase many diverse images.”

“Using my promotion experience up until now as a foundation, I plan to showcase many different images and sides [to myself], regardless of genre and field. I’m working hard to greet you often through acting, music, YouTube, and more without boundaries to my content so I ask that you look forward to it lots,” she continued.
