Ji Chang Wook and Kim Ji Won Confirmed As Main Leads In New Drama By “Its Okay To Not Be Okay” Director

We will be seeing the great chemistry of Ji Chang Wook and Kim Ji Won in a new romantic drama!

Kakao TV’s original drama 도시남녀의 사랑법 City Couple’s Way of Love (LT) has confirmed its main leads Ji Chang Wook and Kim Ji Won.

City Couple’s Way of Love depicts a realistic love story of young people living in a busy and complex city. Aiming to be produced with multiple following seasons, the first part with Ji and Kim as main leads was titled as My Lovely Camera Thief (literal translation).

Ji Chang Wook portrays Park Chae Won, an honest and passionate architect who loves the city alleys. After meeting the woman he called as “camera thief” who stole his heart, but suddenly disappeared like a midsummer night’s dream, he can’t get her off out of his mind.

Meanwhile, Kim Ji Won plays the freelance marketer Lee Eun Oh, an ordinary woman who adopted a false identity in an unfamiliar place. She ends up falling in love with Park Chae Won (Ji Chang Wook), while pretending to be the free-spirited rich woman Yoon Sun Ah.

Powerhouse Cast + Creative Team

Expressing great excitement about their new drama and production team, the main actors, Ji Chang Wook and Kim Ji Won gave their remarks.

Ji Chang Wook said, “Because this drama is a piece made by writer Jung Hyun Jung and director Park Shin-woo, who I have been looking forward to work with, I am excited and ecstatic. Since it’s a short form drama that will air in a new channel, please look forward to it.”

Kim Ji Won expressed, “I’m excited to be working with great directors, writers and actors. I’m working hard to show you another side of me through my character Lee Eun Oh. During these difficult times, I hope to bring you a even a little bit of joy.”

The short form series will be directed by Its Okay To Not Be Okay and Jealousy Incarnate director Park Shin Woo. It was written by writer Chung Hyun Jung (Discovery of Love, Romance Is a Bonus Book, I Need Romance).

Meanwhile, Kim Min Seok (Descendants of the Sun, Doctors) and So Ju Yeon (Dr. Romantic 2) are positively reviewing their appearance in the drama.

Running for 30 minutes per episode, the drama will air in the second half of 2020, and is currently in filming process.
