Kim So Hyun Picks Webtoon Based KBS Drama For Her New Project
A gisaeng-in-training with a temperament to boot is up for Kim So Hyun who will mark her 2019 K-Drama project.
Over a year since Radio Romance, Kim So Hyun returns for a new KBS drama which is slated for release in September.

It is based on a popular webtoon, 녹두전 – Nok Du Jeon, by Yang Hye Jin, that has been serialized since December 2014. Depicting the story of a man who goes incognito as a woman. He infiltrates into a mysterious village of widows to escape getting married.
Kim So Hyun takes the role of a courtesan-in-training who lacks the abilities required for a female entertainer. She also hates becoming a gisaeng.
The Joseon set romantic-comedy boasts impressive showrunners. Helming the project is Director Kim Dong Hwi of Fight For My Way and The Merchant: Gaekju 2015 fame. Penning the series is writer Im Ye Jin who worked on Love in the Moonlight and Who Are You: School 2015. Both have worked with Kim So Hyun in the past, guaranteeing synergy with the actress.
Confident on Kim’s talent, the production team remarked how the actress will bring life to the character. They also encouraged fans to look forward to the actor who will play the role of Nok Du.
