Leading the main cast of tvN’s approaching romantic drama are actors Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji

The two are joined by Oh Jung Se, Park Gyu Young and Kim Ju Heon in It’s Okay To Not Be Okay 사이코지만 괜찮아 .

Seo Ye JiSlated for June broadcast, the series revolves around the story between a psychiatric ward social worker and popular children’s book writer whose hearts will be mended through romance.

Playing the role of Moon Gang Tae, Kim Soo Hyun takes on the role of a social worker in a psychiatric ward. He has seemingly lost his will to live and dream.

Albeit nursing his own woes and fears, he carries on with his duty. Marking Kim’s small screen comeback, the actor last appeared in KBS2 TV series, The Producers (2015).

Transforming to children’s book writer Go Moon Young is Seo Ye Ji. The pre-release information on her role reflects Moon Young has an anti-social personality.

The actress last worked in tvN drama Lawless Lawyer.

Character actor Oh Jung Se (When The Camellia Blooms) is set to portray the role of Gang Tae’s brother. He has autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and is Gang Tae’s only family and meaning in his life.

Rising actress Park Gyu Young takes the role of Nam Joo Ri. She is Gang Tae’s colleague. Park has stringed notable dramas in the recent years. That includes Nokdu Flower and Romance is a Bonus Book. Meanwhile, Kim Ju Hun (Squad 38) suits up as Moon Young’s book publisher.

In charge of the production is Director Park Shin Woo. His notable works include Encounter, Jealousy Incarnate and Phantom. Penning the script is writer Jo Young who wrote the screenplay for KBS2 TV’s workplace drama, Jugglers.

Psycho But It’s Okay targets airdate in June 2020 via tvN.
