Anticipation heightens in the newest video trailer of Kingdom Season 2

Continuing his arduous fight, Crown Prince Lee Chang (Ju Ji Hoon) takes on a bloody struggle amidst the quenchless greed of the Cho family. A hell on earth ensued with people infected by the malady increasing exponentially in numbers.

Lee Chang Faces Double-Edged Sword

In the latest video teaser released, enthralling new layers of the cryptic epidemic is unveiled. The sun has risen, but the crowd infected by the mysterious malady does not fall back to sleep in the daytime as they had before.

Image of despair can be seen on Lee Chang’s face as he is forced to tackle the weight of devastating plague. The vile Chief State Councilor Cho Hak Ju (Ryu Seung Ryeong) pushes him to the edge. Seo-bi (Bae Doona) gets closer to uncovering the cause of the plague.

Arriving at the royal palace after a long journey,  Lee Chang draws his sword against the queen. Poised and expressionless, she looks down on him with a knowing smile. Uncaring about the raging fury of the battered prince.

Hinting a massive conflict conflict ahead, Lee Chang faces a maelstrom of woes. Keen to keep their power, the Cho family is set to defy the prince. At the same time, the rapidly spreading virus has been poisoning Joseon.

Cornered and running out of options, the fate of the Kingdom hangs in the balance. Can Lee Chang save his people, or will this plague be the end of Joseon?
