IU certainly has the support of Lee Joon Gi.

As a favor to his former co-star, Lee recently made a surprise cameo on IU’s latest drama, Hotel Del Luna. Fans who shipped the couple from their Scarlet Heart Ryeo days were in for a treat in the recent episode of Hotel Del Luna.

But the support doesn’t end there. On July 27, IU took to her Instagram and posted photos of a coffee cart Lee sent her. She captioned her post, “We had a good shoot today. Thanks to you, we ended well.”

In the first two photos, IU posed sweetly with a coffee cup bearing her picture. In the following photos, she posed proudly beside the snack cart.

Lee had sent banners that said, “Owner Man Wol, the days have been hard for you. Fighting!” Another banner reads, “Coffee is great with the full moon! Will it bring warmth to Hotel Del Luna?”

Fans have been excited to see the couple together again onscreen after their successful pairing in the 2016 SBS drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. In the drama, IU played modern girl Hae Soo who travelled back to the Goryeo era. While she struggled to come to terms with where she was, she fell in love with Wang So, which was portrayed by Lee.

Meanwhile, IU is currently enjoying success for her ongoing drama, Hotel Del Luna. In this drama, her character Man Wol is the CEO of Hotel Del Luna, a traditional hotel located in the heart of Seoul. Because of something Man Wol did before, she is now forced to work in the hotel, whose guests are all ghosts. Man Wol recruits Chan Sung, played by Yeo Jin Goo, following an incident that happened with Chan Sung’s father years ago.

Hotel Del Luna airs every Saturday and Sunday on tvN.
