Netflix Treats K-Drama Fans With Romance Through “Love Alarm” In August

Draped in candied moments, Netflix original series’ Love Alarm S1 is set to charm Korean drama fans.

Will a mobile app lead someone to romance or will the heart go for what it truly feels? Those are the questions to be answered in the newest treat from Netflix.

Love Alarm

Set for a Summer premiere, Love Alarm S1 narrates the story of friends who find themselves caught in between what they sincerely feel and what a mobile app recommends to be their liking.

Designed to send an alarm, the mobile app detects if someone within a 10-meter radius has romantic feelings to the mobile app user. Charming right?

Portraying the story of bright girl Kim Jo Jo, who finds love by using the mobile app, is actress Kim So Hyun. Her character remains optimistic despite a tragic family history. The actress last worked on dramas Radio Romance and The Emperor.
