Perfect Crown Set to Spark Romance and Drama on Disney+ This April

This spring, two of Korea’s brightest stars—IU and Byeon Wooseok—join forces for the highly anticipated romantic comedy Perfect Crown, premiering April 10 on Disney+.

The series follows the beloved royal, Grand Prince I-AN, as he navigates a tense power struggle within the royal family. Pressured to marry, the prince enters a marriage of convenience with Huiju, heir to one of Korea’s largest conglomerates. While both aim to advance their own agendas, sparks fly, emotions run high, and their carefully laid plans take unexpected turns.

IU stars as Huiju, the determined second-in-line to a corporate empire, while Byeon Wooseok portrays Grand Prince I-AN. The series is directed by Park Joonhwa (known for Alchemy of Souls and What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim) and penned by writer Yoo Jiwon.

Perfect Crown is among the latest wave of Korean dramas arriving on Disney+ in 2026.
