Seohyun, Go Kyung Pyo & Kim Hyo Jin To Play The Outsmarting Game In New jTBC Drama

Seohyun, Go Kyung Pyo and Kim Hyo Hin are decked on the newest jTBC drama offering

Challenging the role of a con artist, Seohyun pairs up with Go Kyung Pyo who will mark his post-military service drama through 사생활 Private Life (literal translation). Joining them is actress Kim Hyo Jin, who also returns to the small screen after eight years.

 

Slated to broadcast in the second half of 2020, Private Life is billed to revolve around the story of a scammer who inadvertently falls into an issue of national level competing against established and big companies.

Private Life’s Quick Character Sketches

Seohyun takes the focal character Cha Joo Eun – a woman who chooses to commit fraud to survive each day. The Girls’ Generation member suits up for a challenging role after a string of noteworthy projects. Recently, she appeared in jTBC’s Hello Dracula which earned praises through her intense portrayal. She has previously worked as female leads on MBC dramas, Bad Thief, Good Thief and Time.

After completing the mandatory military service, Go Kyung Pyo takes on the male lead in Private Life. He is set to breathe life to the character of Lee Jung Hwan. The latter approached Cha Joo Eun impersonating as a leader of a business’ planning team.

Prior to his military enlistment, Go has starred in dramas Cross and Strongest Deliveryman. His other notable works include Chicago Typewriter, Don’t Dare to Dream and Reply 1988.

Rounding up the main cast is actress Kim Hyo Jin who last worked in Channel A’s Strangers 6. The actress is married to actor Yoo Ji Tae and has worked in both films and television dramas actively.

Portraying the role of a fraudster who caused chaos in Cha Joo Eun’s family, she moved to China. Her fascinating character is expected to blend well with junior actors she will be working with.

Private Life will be aired on jTBC some time in the second half of the year.
