So Ju Yeon, Seo Ji Hoon, Kim Min Kyu, Kang Hye Won, and Yoon Hyun Soo To Star In A New School Drama

Another school-themed drama titled Seasons of Blossom is currently in the works and it stars some of the most talented actors today!

With plans to display their outstanding acting abilities, So Ju Yeon, Seo Ji Hoon, Kim Min Kyu, Kang Hye Won, and Yoon Hyun Soo recently accepted offers to lead the upcoming drama titled Seasons of Blossom.

PLAYLIST happily confirmed the news on July 6 stating that the actors will be starring as the main characters of the program.

Revolving around the school life, Seasons of Blossom tells the story of love and friendship of 18-year-old youths at Seoyeon High School. Giving viewers the chance to grasp the plot on a deeper level, the drama will focus on a different main character for each of the four seasons. It will also highlight the concerns young adults who cannot be honest and often hides themselves. 

Making it more exciting, Seasons of Blossom is based on the webtoon of the same name that was serialized on Naver Webtoon since June 2020.

MEET THE CAST

Seo Ji Hoon will take on the role of Lee Ha Min, a dual-natured character who is bright on the outside but dark on the inside. Meanwhile, So Ju Yeon is gearing up to play Han So Mang, a kind but timid high-schooler.

Kim Min Kyu will transform into the popular student Lee Jae Min who has a painful past but is extremely friendly to everyone around him. The character Yoon Bo Mi, who is a bright and kind model student, will be played by none other than Kang Hye Won.

Finally, Yoon Hyun Soo will play the role of Choi Jin Young who loves gaming but has a surprisingly delicate side.

The drama will depict the butterfly effect that occurs when an incident from six years ago of a boy committing suicide and a girl being unable to stop him begins to affect the current teens living in the present.

Seasons of Blossom is set to air on the small screen in September.
