Super Junior’s Siwon is making his return to K-Dramaland with a lead role in a new KBS drama!

Super Junior’s Siwon will head back to your TV screens as the male lead of a new drama!

Following reports on November 27 about the Super Junior member being cast in the upcoming KBS drama My Fellow Citizens, a source from SM Entertainment has confirmed the good news.

“Choi Siwon will appear in KBS’ upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama titled My Fellow Citizens, which is scheduled to air next year,” the source said.

Dear Citizens is a crime drama with a comedic twist, as it revolves around the story of a con man who got married to a police officer and how he gets swept up in a series of unplanned incidents; which includes him ending up running to become a member of the National Assembly.

Siwon will bring the role of Yang Jung Kook to life, who is a con man from a family of whose livelihood comes from nothing but fraud. In attempts to earn money so he could marry his girlfriend, he approaches a loan shark in hopes to scam him – but alas, the tables get turned and he gets scammed instead.

Dear Citizens is written by Han Jung Hoon, who is also the brain behind Bad Guys and Squad 38. It will be directed by Jugglers‘ PD Kim Jung Hyun, and is aimed to air in March 2019.
