“Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938” Shows Promising Start In Recent Premiere

Off to a great start, the launch week of Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938 decked 6.4 and 7.1 nationwide viewership ratings.

Taking its signature flavor, Tale of the Nine-tailed 1938 chronicles the story of Lee Yeon, a nine-tailed fox, who made an emergency landing in an era of chaos.

Aside from its engrossing worldview featuring indigenous gods and native monsters, a dynamic story on a big scale portrayed by more colorful characters awaits the viewers.

Lee Dong Wook, Kim So Yeon, Kim Bum, Ryu Kyung Soo, Hwang Hee and Kim Yong Ji are set to go on a hunt beyond imagination in the second season of the well-loved tvN K-Fantasy series.

According to Nielsen Korea, the second episode records an average of 8.3% for households in the metropolitan area peaking at 9.8%, and an average of 7.1% for households in the country, and a maximum of 8.3%.

Action-packed and engrossing, the series gives a peek at other interesting characters Lee Yeon is acquainted with.

Dispatched in 1938, Lee Yeon ends up getting trapped after saving his brother Lee Rang. He is also reunited with Hong-ju, a mountain goddess who harbors affection for him.

However, he is also at the center of a revenge plan of another mountain god, Mu-young.
