Discover Seoul Pass Expands New Attractions Coverage In Gyeonggi & Incheon
Limited version of Discover Seoul Pass for foreign travelers is available for purchase this week.
To cater to the influx of tourist arrivals in the country, Discover Seoul Pass (DSP), a travel pass that lets you visit Seoul’s hottest destination, will now cover a wider range of benefits.
In addition, the discounted rates to tourist destinations will extend to nearby provinces of Incheon and Gyeonggi.
The Seoul city government announced the launch on November 5, citing that the new DSP passes will feature discount vouchers for 96 tourist hot spots including Everland, Korean Folk Village and Songdo Central Park.
With the revamped version of Discover Seoul Pass, the culture ministry aims to enhance the tourism drive. The additional places for travelers to visit will yield a smooth flowing vacation plans for tourists who usually go to Seoul outskirt destinations as part of their travel itineraries.
6,000 of the new tour passes will be available for purchase on Tuesday, November 6. The new passes still function as transportation card that can be topped up to navigate Seoul through bus, taxi and subway.
To suit the travel preference, it comes with 24/48/72-hour time ranges.
24-hour pass – ₩39,900
48-hour pass – ₩55,000
72-hour pass – ₩70,000
