Have you been casting your votes diligently for 2020 MAMA?

Eagerly-awaited music festival, 2020 MAMA, has rolled its voting time for K-Pop fans to support their favorites! This will be MAMA‘s 12th year as a global music awards ceremony hosted by CJ ENM. It has become a worldwide festival where CJ ENM’s capabilities through culture and technology have culminated.

This year, through NEW-TOPIA a new world will emerge combining with the age of technology, where there is a world where fans from all over the world can connect and meet each other through music.


Today, we check on who’s leading the nominees of 2020 MAMA in their respective award categories after the voting launch on October 29.

Notably, global powerhouse BTS has so far secured the reign on five categories they were nominated including the “Artist of the Year” award.

Cherished soloist IU has been also succeeding in three award categories she currently dominates.

Meanwhile, there’s a bit of drama in female group award categories with BLACKPINK leading the pack, but TWICE and Red Velvet following closely behind.

The dance performance solo is also featuring interesting race between MAMAMOO’s Hwasa and SHINee’s TAEMIN.

2020 MAMA Voting Update


Fans of respective nominees can support their favorite groups by going to official website of 2020 MAMA and open the gate to NEW-TOPIA. Complete your vote after selecting all nominees from your chosen category. Voting is allowed one time per day. If you don’t vote on the mandatory category(Artist of the Year, Song of the Year), voting won’t be finalized.

Alternatively, you can channel your vote on Twitter. You can only participate with registered Twitter accounts and only public accounts count as vote. You can only vote once a day per account. The tweets with the official hashtags (#MAMAVOTE) & the artist’s official hashtag (#artistname) will be counted as a vote.

If you retweet a valid tweet from another account it will be counted as a valid vote as well. If you use multiple hashtags of different artists included in one tweet, it won’t be counted as a vote. The tweets who violate Twitter policies and regulations won’t be valid either.

Official Voting will be held on Mnet’s official site on December 5 at 11:59 P.M. KST. While the online voting period is from October 29, 6 P.M. KST to December 5, 12 P.M. KST.
