2NE1 Announces 15th Anniversary Concert: ‘WELCOME BACK’ in Seoul
2NE1 is set to celebrate its 15th debut anniversary with a solo concert, marking a spectacular return for the legendary girl group.
YG Entertainment announced on the 25th that 2NE1 will perform at the 2024 2NE1 CONCERT [WELCOME BACK] IN SEOUL on October 5th and 6th at the Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park. This will be their first solo concert in nearly 10 years, following All or Nothing in Seoul in March 2014. The concert title, ‘Welcome Back,’ reflects the group’s heartfelt reunion with their fans, and ticket sales are already generating excitement.
The full-group comeback of 2NE1, a pioneer in YG’s girl group legacy, is highly anticipated. The members, renowned for their stellar live performances and stage presence, reaffirmed their global popularity at the 2022 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
With General Producer Yang Hyun-suk fully backing the comeback, the concert promises extraordinary synergy. YG’s extensive experience with world tours and the members’ exceptional live skills are expected to create an unforgettable event.
YG explained, “This year marks a significant milestone with their 15th anniversary and reunion. We aimed to launch the concerts within the year. While we’ve confirmed additional shows in Kobe and Tokyo, we prioritized kicking off the tour in Korea.”
Due to high demand and limited availability, the Olympic Hall was a fortunate find. YG anticipates intense ticket sales and expresses regret over not being able to accommodate more fans in Korea. They promise a top-tier performance and look forward to future updates.
2NE1’s global tour will start in Seoul before moving to Kobe and Tokyo. They plan to reach as many international fans as possible by next year. Tickets will go on sale August 5th at 8 PM through Interpark Ticket, with no advance sales available.
