ACE releases its sixth mini-album My Girl: “My Choice through various online music sites at 6 pm on February 22!
My Girl: “My Choice” is ACE’s first EP in three years. Park Jun-hee, Lee Dong-hoon, Wow, and Kim Byeong-kwan completed their military service last year, and participated in this latest work.
The youngest member, Kang Yu-chan, who was discharged on the 15th of this month, made a surprise appearance at the busking press conference and other events to show support.
Expectations are rising as a signal to announce ACE’s new activities after leaving the military.
The title song “My Girl” is a disco pop song that combines a warm and sweet guitar melody with a dreamy, retro synth sound. It depicts a story of discovering one’s suppressed existence and boldly setting out to find its meaning.
British singer-songwriter Etham worked to improve the musical perfection, and member Lee Dong-hoon participated in writing the lyrics, capturing Ace’s unique sincerity.
You can enjoy ‘My Girl’ through various content, including music videos and challenges, as well as the music.
Ace launches the PETFLIX project, a parody of OTT, and presents “My Girl” as its first work. In the office comedy genre, four different characters were added, including professional job changer Lee Dong-hoon, newbie king Kim Byeong-kwan, young old man Park Jun-hee, and MZ king WoW, adding unique fun to the office comedy genre.
This album includes the Korean and English versions of “My Girl”, the pre-released single “Effortless” released last year, the Korean and English versions of “Angel”, and the new song “Facetime” written and composed by member Wow.
All seven songs are composed of medium-tempo music that focuses on the vocals of ACE members.
The group will begin full-fledged activities in 2024, armed with the members’ musical growth and the unique PETFLIX concept. Ace’s ‘My Girl’ is expected to provide fresh listening pleasure to many global music fans.
