aespa Achieves Half A Million Sales With First Mini-Album “SAVAGE”

Nothing can indeed stop Aespa from conquering the K-Pop scene as they land an impressive feat for their first-ever EP SAVAGE!

Talented rookie girl group aespa demonstrates outstanding growth by marking their latest comeback for this year with an amazing sales achievement.

As of October 21, the powerful girl group’s newest offering and first mini-album SAVAGE has already recorded a total of 513,292 copies sold. 

The quartet was able to achieve such massive and impressive count in just 15 days since the official release of the album on October 5. With this outstanding feat, the group has now become a half-million seller despite being in the industry for only around 11 months.

This goes to show how popular and influential they are not only in their homeland, South Korea, but also all over the world. 

SAVAGE is aespa’s first album since their debut in November 2020. It also marks as their latest comeback in 5 months since they unveiled their chart-topping single “Next Level” in May 2020.

SUBSEQUENT ACHIEVEMENTS 

Further proving their amazing musical prowess and artistry, aespa was able to enter the US Billboard 200 and Artist 100 Charts with their newest release. They currently hold the highest place among all K-Pop girl groups included in the said chart.

Aside from these, SAVAGE also conquered the same platform’s World Album, Independent Album, Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, Taste Maker Album, World Digital Song Sales, Billboard Global and Billboard Global 200 Charts. 

As if these weren’t enough, the same album also topped Gaon’s South Korean Albums Chart and dominated Oricon’s Japanese Albums and Japan Hot Albums Charts.

Meanwhile, the title track of the same name also reigned over Japan’s Hot 100 Charts, Gaon Chart and Billboard US World Digital Song Sales Charts. Aespa even recently achieved their first Perfect All-Kill (“PAK”) on major music charts in South Korea, and also bagged four consecutive music show wins with “SAVAGE.”

As of current writing, the music video to the track has already amassed 98 million views on the YouTube platform.

aespa will continue to promote “Savage” on various music shows in South Korea.
