Notching 53 consecutive days at No.1 on Mel0n’s Daily Chart, AKMU achieved the longest record this year.

The sibling musicians set the record on Korea’s largest music platform.

According to YG Entertainment on October 29, AKMU’s fourth single title song “Love Lee” ranked first on the Melon Daily chart released the previous day.

After reaching number one for the first time on September 5, the song succeeded in maintaining the top spot on the chart for a whopping 53 days.

This is the longest record among songs released this year. On Melon’s weekly chart, “Love Lee” has been ranked number one for 7 consecutive weeks.

Even though it has been more than two months since it was released, AKMU’s long-term reign is expected to continue for some time as there is no wavering in maintaining the Melon TOP 100 throne.

In fact, since its release on August 21, “Love Lee” has dominated the top spot on major domestic music sites and achieved a ‘perfect all-kill’.

Correspondingly, in September’s Circle Chart, it swept first place in the digital and streaming categories, and its song “Fry’s Dream” is also at the top of the music charts and is consistently loved.

Meanwhile, AKMU confirmed the holding of the national tour AKMU 2023-2024 CONCERT TOUR [AKMUTOPIA] for the first time in four years. Starting with the Seoul concert on November 24th, 25th, and 26th, the group plans to move to Busan, Gwangju, Changwon, Goyang, Daegu, Suwon, and Daejeon to communicate with fans from all over the country.

The duo is also set to appear at the Asia Artist Awards 2023 which will be held in the Philippines.
