ATEEZ Reaches 930,000 First Week Sales With “THE WORLD EP.1: MOVEMENT”

ATEEZ shatters another personal record with their first-week sales for THE WORLD EP.1: MOVEMENT.

ATEEZ makes impressive strides as one of the leading K-Pop boy groups globally with their latest release, THE WORLD EP.1: MOVEMENT. Their agency, KQ Entertainment, announced that data accumulated by Hanteo Chart showed their album sales for July 29-August 4 had reached 930,000 copies, topping their personal first-week sales record.

This shows an impressive 40% sales jump for initial sales compared to their prior September release, ZERO: FEVER PART.3 which recorded 666, 350 sales. Moreover, the group topped the Circle Chart (formerly Gaon Chart) for the period of July 24-30 as well as Hanteo Chart’s Physical Album Chart for five consecutive days from July 31 to August 4.

The album succeeded globally as well; it topped Japan’s Tower Records Weekly Chart between July 25-31. Additionally, it placed second on Amazon’s Bestseller K-Pop rankings in the US and also ranked on Spotify’s Top Album Debut Chart from July 29-31.

Moreover, ATEEZ had a fruitful start to their promotions on music shows. The group has already scored two first-place wins on SBS MTV’s The Show and MBC M’s Show Champion. Meanwhile, the music video for their title track “Guerrilla” is approaching 20 million views, illustrating the group’s global impact with their new music.

ATEEZ will continue making waves globally as they approach the start of their upcoming tour, THE FELLOWSHIP: BREAK THE WALL. This marks their second worldwide tour of 2022, indicating their soaring popularity. The tour kicks off in Korea, followed by subsequent shows in the USA, Canada, and Japan.

Meanwhile, the group will continue greeting fans through different content including variety shows, radio appearances, and promotional stages for their title track, “Guerrilla”.
