“Awake” is one of the most heartwarming tracks in Jin’s repertoire of solo music. Frequently making references towards the sky and metaphorical wings, it is evident that there is a pattern of ethereal personifications and symbolism in most of his solo songs. In the lyrics, the crooner serenades fans with inspirational words that address both human insecurities and the determination to never give up on your dreams.

Just recently, the song has marked yet another milestone by surpassing 60 million streams on the music streaming platform, Spotify. The colossal number showcases just how loved and popular “Awake” is, despite the passage of time. Congrats, Jin and ARMY!
