By  |

On the latest broadcast of MBC’s Show! Music Core on May 9, BIGBANG successfully earned its well-deserved trophy with the group’s newest title track named Loser, even without giving a comeback performance on the music show.

Outstripping BTS’ I Need U and San E’s Me You, Loser leapt to the first spot with 8,954 votes.

Making their long-awaited comeback after three years of hiatus, the boys dropped their first album, M, of the comeback project titled MADE on May 1, with double hit title songs; Loser and Bae Bae. Shortly after the release of Loser, the track has swept all the major real-time music charts in Korea, as well as topping the iTunes Single Charts in Hong Kong, Macao, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam, proving the quintet’s tremendous popularity.

BIGBANG will be revealing a special project on the first day of every month until August, before launching its full album in September.

This week’s Show! Music Core featured a number of stages from various artists, including BTS, Dal Shabet, EXID, B2ST’s Jang Hyun Seung, Jeon Hyo Sung, Kim Ye Rim, Mr.Mr, Oh My Girl, Red Velvet, UNIQ, and more.
