BLACKPINK Named As Top Girl Group In December Brand Rankings

Ending the year with many achievements, BLACKPINK has recently topped the brand reputation rankings for the month of December!

From scoring grand deals from global brands to releasing fantastic content and music, phenomenal girl group BLACKPINK definitely owns the limelight this December. They recently conquered the brand rankings again, proving that they are indeed a K-Pop girl group you should keep your eye on.

According to the recent data released by the Korean Business Research Institute BLACKPINK has secured the top spot in the brand reputation rankings for female idol groups this month.

The list provided by the organization is based on several factors including consumer participation, and media, communication, and community indices.

Notably, the institute was able to analyze 34,690,870 number of brand big data from November 12 to December 12.

AN ICONIC REIGN

Dominating the list with great pride, YG Entertainment’s prized girl group BLACKPINK acquired a total of 5,183,270 brand reputation index. As proof of their growing influence over the general public, their brand reputation index was 11.29% higher than their last month’s record.

In particular, BLACKPINK had a participation index of 203,932, media index of 862,251, communication index of 1,503,658 and community index of 2,613,429.

Some of the high-ranking phrases in the girl group’s keyword analysis are “record,” “breakthrough,” and “confirm.” The words “YouTube,” “Lisa” and “Corona” also appeared in the list of their highest ranking terms.

GROUPS THAT ALSO DESERVE THE RECOGNITION

Taking the second and third place are digital monsters TWICE and aespa. The former superbly attained a brand reputation index of 3,516,318, while the latter obtained a brand reputation index of 2,751,853. TWICE’s index increased by 21.83%, while aespa’s fell by 17.95%.

Demonstrating their immense popularity, Red Velvet scored the fourth and fifth spots. Meanwhile, Apink, OH MY GIRL, Girls’Generation, MAMAMOO, Brave Girls and LABOUM placed sixth to tenth, respectively.
