A fitting welcome for Rosé’s solo debut!

BLACKPINK’s Rosé has impressively achieved brand-new feats for herself with her debut music release.

On March 12 at 2 PM KST, Rosé made her highly-awaited debut with her first solo album featuring “GONE” and her title track “On The Ground”.

Just a few hours after making her grand solo debut, Rosé’s “On The Ground” dominated the domestic and international music charts. Remarkably, it hit the No.1 spot on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 51 different regions, including the United States, Brazil, Canada, Chile, France, Greece, Hong Kong, Macau, Mexico, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam, and more.

In addition, the music video for her title track has amassed over 59 million views as of March 14 at 3 PM KST. Moreover, even before releasing her solo debut single album R, it already surpassed 400,000 stock pre-orders as of March 8. Notably, it is the highest number of stock pre-orders achieved by a female artist in Korea.

Meanwhile, Rosé will grace The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on March 16 to perform her title track “On The Ground”.  On March 20, she will also appear as a guest on jTBC’s variety show Knowing Brothers together with her best friend, Girls’ Day’s Hyeri.
