With her first solo single album, LALISA, BLACKPINK’s Lisa tops iTunes Charts in 60 regions globally!

BLACKPINK’s Lisa celebrates a successful solo debut with her first single album titled, LALISA. With the project, the artist topped iTunes song charts in 60 countries as of September 11. The results reveal Lisa’s popularity across major continents including North and South America, Europe, and Asia.

Furthermore, Lisa also ranked first on the iTunes Worldwide Chart. Her track, “MONEY”, also ranked second, drawing further attention to her newest release.

In addition to her success on the charts, the artist also received praise from various foreign outlets including Billboard, MTV, Rolling Stone, METRO, Forbes, and Variety. Many highlighted the scale of Lisa’s solo debut and complimented the idol for her work.

Billboard in particular stated, “Lisa has invited fans to her own world. Everyone who has heard of the LALISA album will definitely remember Lisa.”

On the other hand, MTV explained, “The best artist Lisa showed her potential in all three areas of acting, singing, and dancing. Her confident appearance and powerful dancing are impressive.”

Meanwhile, the music video for title track, “LALISA” continues to soar in views. As of 19 hours of its release on YouTube, the video ranked in a whooping 63 million views. If the video keeps up with its current trend, many predict that the video will claim the “Most Viewed Video in 24 Hours” achievement.

Moreover, many believe Lisa will break BLACKPINK’s personal record of the quickest video to reach 100 million views.

The artist will celebrate her solo project by participating in NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The American program will air on September 11, just past noon in KST.
