On June 28 at 6pm KST, BigHit Entertainment unveiled the nostalgic music video for the track, which was released simultaneously – with the rest of the OST album for their newest mobile game pair-up with Netmarble.
Widely apt with the game’s mission of helping BTS debut tasked to the fans role-playing as the group’s managers, the music video made sure to give an ode to the fans, who have been the biggest part of their success.
The music video started with the words, “If you were not there then, would we, who were just like a lonely island, shine as bright as now?”, flashing on the screen, which could already send everyone on a crying fit.

Never failing to give thanks and appreciation to ARMYs, the group also visualized their outpouring love by telling everyone that they are their “YOUNIVERSE”, and making the crowd their galaxy, as much as fans have made them their world.
Additionally, the music video brought back memories by showing the group’s humble journey to the top.
Recounting their journey as musicians, the group reenacted their trainee days, which showed their huge dedication. The scene’s transition to BTS then performing at sold-out concerts afterward gave everyone shivers as it proved just how far the group has come.
The beauty of the video’s cinematography was also highlighted by the use of BTS’ signature color purple all throughout, as well as taking elements from some of their songs like whales and the moon.
Through its lyrics, the song itself also tells the story of a fateful meeting with someone, who serves as the light in one’s world – just like how ARMYs are to BTS, and vice versa.
