BTS’ “IDOL” Music Video Reaches 800 Million YouTube Views
“IDOL” becomes BTS’ fifth music video to hit 800 million views on YouTube!
BTS has obtained a new milestone on the YouTube platform as their captivating music video for “IDOL” officially joined the 800-million mark.
RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook released the track on August 24, 2018, through their record-breaking album Love Yourself: Answer. Remarkably, the boys were able to reach the said massive amount of views in around two years, three months, and eight days after its successful worldwide release.
Additionally, “IDOL” becomes BTS’ fifth music video to exceed 800 million views. Other tracks of the boy group that likewise achieved the feat include “DNA”, “Fake Love”, “Boy With Luv”, and most recently “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)”.
In recent news, the septet continues to bag amazing accolades on various Billboard charts with their latest album BE. It debuted at No.1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, Independent Albums chart, and the famous Top 200 albums chart. Moreover, the title track “Life Goes On” topped the Hot 100 and Global 200 charts.
