BTS’ Jimin Continues To Soar With His Solo Tracks “Serendipity” And “Filter”
BTS’ Jimin truly impresses yet again with his serene visuals and mellow vocals evident in his latest feats!
BTS’ Jimin’s two chart topping hits have once again reached magnificent milestones. The singer’s music video for his track “Serendipity”, which celebrated its 3rd anniversary, exceeded 140 million views on YouTube on September 12.
In the music video for the heartwarming number, Jimin exudes a mysterious and dreamy charm. The artist looks ethereal, almost like a fairy prince, amidst the enchanting backdrop of the video.
Moreover, Jimin also left ARMYs awe struck with his mellifluous vocals in the tranquil track. “Serendipity” which recently surpassed 10 million views on its audio video on BTS’ official YouTube channel as well.
Speaking of Jimin’s harmonious voice, the vocalist’s solo song “Filter” from BTS’ album Map of The Soul: 7, surpassed 80 million streams on Spotify. This feat comes almost 204 days after the track’s release. It became the third track by Jimin after “Lie” and “Serendipity” to garner over 80 million streams on the music site.
Additionally, this feat is significant because it recorded the most amount of streams after the album’s title song “ON”. The song also set the record for the most amount of streams for a solo track on Map of The Soul:7. Moreover, it also amassed the most amount of streams for a K-pop act’s solo song in the shortest amount of time.
Meanwhile, BTS made history as their recently released track “Dynamite” spent the second week in a row at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. At the time of its release, “Dynamite” had debuted at the Hot 100’s summit, marking the group’s first No. 1 and the first leader on the list ever for an all-South Korean act.
