BTS’ Jungkook X IU will be gold!

BTS’ Jungkook dropped an emotional cover of IU’s “Ending Scene”, a track from the award-winning singer’s fourth studio album Palette which was released in 2017

The video, which was uploaded on BTS‘ official Twitter account (@BTS_twt) on December 19, has been viewed 4.81 million times, liked 1.2 million times, retweeted 529k times, and commented to 164k times (as of December 21, 5:30 KST).

Following the release of the cover, fans can’t help but hope for a collaboration between the two talented singers especially since Jungkook has been known to be a longtime fan of IU.

“Imagine how great IU and Jungkook’s collaboration will be,” wrote Twitter user @BTSBUNK, along with a video combining the cover of the BTS member with the solo singer’s performance of “Ending Scene”.

The sentiment to see a collaboration between Jungkook and IU has made rounds on the social networking site with fans putting together the voices of the two singers to prove how great the outcome of the duet will be.

“Guys, I put Jungkook and IU’s voices together. Please listen to this. I’m crying! They sound so good together,” wrote @jiminandtears in all capital letters. The Twitter user also re-uploaded the BTS’ member’s cover video, adding the “Ending Scene” singer’s voice.

Still, the biggest question which Twitter user @ggukreum raised in behalf of those who are rooting for a collaboration — When will we get the collab?
