BTS Leads December Brand Rankings For K-Pop Male Groups
Phenomenal boy group BTS remains unstoppable even during the year-end as they top the brand reputation rankings for the month of December!
From holding blockbuster concerts internationally to continuously setting records left and right, BTS definitely owns the spotlight this December! The boy group dominated the brand rankings once again, further proving that they are one of the best K-Pop groups today.
According to the recent report released by the Korean Business Research Institute, BTS has secured the No. 1 spot in the brand reputation rankings for male idol groups this month.
The list provided by the organization is based on numerous factors including consumer participation, and media, communication, and community indices.
Notably, the institution was able to extract a total of 53,070,133 number of big brand data from November 11 to December 11. This was 4.91% lower in comparison to the 55,812,992 brand big data analyzed in October to November.
A WELL-DESERVED ACHIEVEMENT
Big Hit Music’s prized group BTS demonstrated their immense popularity and massive worldwide influence by acquiring a brand reputation index of 8,730,664.
As proof of their great reputation among the masses and K-Pop fans, Compared with their brand reputation index was 46.60% higher than the 5,955,484 they accumulated in November.
Steadily maintaining their spot, the idol has officially recorded 43 No.1s now since they began dominating the K-Pop scene. They also had a participation index of 1,982,938, media index of 2,231,316, communication index of 1,958,974, and community index of 2,557,436.
Some of the high-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis are “suspicious,” “selected,” and “breakthrough.” The words “super tuna,” “Instagram” and “Army” also appeared on the list of BTS’ high-ranking terms.
OTHER GROUPS WHO DESERVE RECOGNITION
Bagging the second and third place are legendary third generation boy groups SEVENTEEN and EXO. The former astoundingly obtained a brans reputation index of 3,541,815, while the latter had 2,592,445. Moreover, SEVENTEEN and EXO’s index fell by 30.96% and 28.06%, respectively.
Demonstrating their outstanding talents, MONSTA X and NCT bagged the fourth to fifth spot immediately. Meanwhile, THE BOYZ, SF9, SHINee, ASTRO and BTOB placed sixth to tenth.
