BTS Makes History As “Love Yourself: Answer Bags BRIT Awards’ Gold Certification

Congratulations to BTS for being the first-ever Korean artist to achieve gold certification from the BRIT Awards!

The worldwide phenomenal septet BTS continues to make history in the global music scene with their record-breaking releases.

BTS is #BRITCertified

On May 15, the British Phonographic Industry has recently announced that BTS’ well-loved 2018 album Love Yourself: Answer received a brand-new recognition. The album specifically bagged the gold certification from BRIT Awards as it impressively achieved 100,000 units sold in the United Kingdom.

Previously, it became the boy group’s very first album to be certified silver in May 2019. Other albums of BTS that likewise obtained the silver certification for its 60,000 units sold are Map of The Soul: Persona, Love Yourself: Tear, and recently Map of The Soul:7. Moreover, the septet’s “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey has achieved the silver certification last February.

An upcoming gift from BTS

In related news, BTS is set to celebrate its 7th debut anniversary this coming June. To make it more memorable for fans, the group will be conducting a concert titled BANG BANG CON The Live on June 14. The concert will begin from 6 PM KST via pay-per-view streaming on Weverse. Fans can pre-order for the event from June 1 onward.
