BTS Decides To Release A Single First In August, Ahead Of New Album
ARMYs, brace yourselves for BTS is all set to captivate with their thrilling tunes!
BTS is all set to make their highly anticipated comeback which has unquestionably left fans feeling excited. Before ready to break the charts with a new powerhouse album, the group is set out to do the same with a single track as a prelude, which they will be releasing next month.
The septet took to V Live and announced, “We have prepared a new single for ARMY, set for August 21. We are preparing an album for the second half of this year, but decided to first release a single because we wanted to reach our fans as soon as possible.” They added, “Due to COVID-19, people around the world have been going through tough times and we want to share some positive energy with our fans.”
Talking about their upcoming single, BTS shared, “The song is upbeat and sung in English, just like “MIC Drop” and “Waste It on Me”. We thought that the song sounded perfect as it is in English. We recorded the guide version and felt that the result was something totally new and fresh.”
Furthermore, the group stated that just like their fans, they too needed a breakthrough during these unforeseen times. So they worked on this new song, “This is a new challenge for us as well. When we first heard and recorded the song, we were energized and our spirits were lifted up. We can’t wait to share this song with you all and enjoy it together.”
But that’s not all!
Two of the members of the boy band have amazing news of their own as well. Suga will be featuring on artist MAX’s upcoming album, Colour Vision, releasing on September 18, on a track titled, “Blueberry Eyes”. The rapper had previously worked with MAX on the fiery number, “Burn It”, from his solo mixtape, Agust D’s D-2.
Speaking of solo mixtapes, another BTS member has also confirmed his upcoming venture as a soloist. And it is none other than vocalist V.
Taehyung shared of how he wants to challenge himself and to release his first mixtape. The singer admitted that he has realized how hard it must have been for members RM, Suga, and J-Hope to release their solo albums. He spoke about his experience working on the solo project. V said, “The fact that I have to make an entire album is quite a pressure.”
To this, leader RM encouraged the vocalist and said that he is looking forward to KTH1. Suga noted that finally someone from the vocal line will be releasing a mixtape. While maknae Jungkook shared, “V hyung let me hear it at times and it’s so good”, and Jin added that there are a lot of good songs.
