BTS’ Leader RM To Team Up With Nell, eAeon & HONNE In New Mixtape “mono”

Yes, you read that right — BTS’s RM is dropping a new mixtape!

On October 20, BTS’s leader RM surprised ARMYs when he unveiled the tracklist of his upcoming mixtape titled mono.

The upcoming mixtape will contain a total of seven tracks including collaborations with other music acts. RM teamed up with South Korean indie band Nell for the song “지나가” (ji-na-ga which is translated as “Pass By”). He also tapped the help of eAeon of South Korean indie duo Mot for the track “Bad Bye”.

Meanwhile, English electronic duo HONNE, who have expressed their interest to work with RM in several occasions, produced the track “Seoul”.

Other tracks in mono include “Tokyo”, “어긋 (eo-geut which is translated as “Zig Zag”), “Moonchild”, and “Forever Rain”.

Aside from the tracklist, RM got fans curious on the logic behind the word “mixtape” being crossed out and replaced by “playlist” instead.

The full mixtape will be out on October 23.

mono will be RM’s second mixtape following his self-titled 2015 mixtape, which was well-received by critics and hip-hop community.

ARMYs have also voiced out their excitement for the upcoming release as it has been more than three years since the rapper came out with a mixtape. Moreover, the hashtag #mono trended on top of Twitter’s worldwide trends with supportive tweets for the leader of BTS.

The fans encourage their fellow ARMYs to support the upcoming mixtape. They also expressed their confidence in the quality of music that the rapper will introduce through the new releases.
