Chung Ha Puts Current Activities On Hold Despite Testing Negative For Coronavirus
As a precaution for the current outbreak, Chung Ha and her staff members will go into self-isolation.
Following Chung Ha and her staff members’ return from Italy after completing scheduled activities on February 24, two of the songstress’ staff members had been tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19).
While returning back to South Korea, one of the staff showed signs of fever and tested positive for Coronavirus. After undergoing self-isolation, and testing, another staff tested positive for the Coronavirus.
On the other hand, all other staff as well as the singer were confirmed to have currently tested negative on March 1.
MNH Entertainment said, “Chung Ha and her staff members will go into self-isolation as requested by Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.”
“For the sake of safety, all scheduled activities have been cancelled for the time being, and we will continue to take the best possible measures and deal with (the virus) faithfully,” the agency added.
Following the news, 88rising also confirmed that Chung Ha will not be pushing through with her scheduled performance at the Head in the Clouds music and arts festival taking place on March 7 in Jakarta.
Meanwhile, the singer also recently made her comeback with her new song “Honestly I’m Tired”, which came with a music video featuring actress Jo Bo Ah.
