Chungha Announces Plans For A Scorching June Comeback

Summer is only about to get even hotter as Chungha gears up for a fresh and sunny comeback this June.

Six months after her fiery comeback, Chungha is ready for more! The blooming soloist shared that she has new music in the works, and that they are already working on a comeback schedule. Fans can look forward to fresh sound paired with Chungha’s sunny charms next month.

A representative from MNH Entertainment has confirmed that the soloist has indeed working on a new comeback, which is set to be released in June. Despite her busy schedule, Chungha has worked hard on recording the title track and preparing for her summer comeback. Further details about her upcoming comeback will be made available to the fans in the days to come.

Chungha rose to fame as she competed in the first season of Produce 48 in 2016. The soloist ranked seventh on the show, debuting with project group I.O.I. After the group’s disbandment in January 2017, she debuted as a soloist with the EP Hands on Me. Its title track, “Why Don’t You Know?” charted seventh on Billboard’s K-Pop Hot 100, and was nominated for the New Artist of the Year (Song) award at the Gaon Chart Music Awards.

The soloist took the world by storm with her most recent release, “Gotta Go”. The single earned high rankings on the Gaon Music Charts, and ranked charted sixth on Billboard’s World Digital Songs Chart.

Chungha also won her first music show win with “Gotta Go”, on MBC’s Show Champion.
